Happy 4th of July Under The Full Moon
Happy 4th of July to the U.S.A! This is your two hundredth and forty fourth birthday! We the people sure have come a long way since the beginning of it all.
While there have been many cancellations with celebrating our traditional 4th of July holiday, many private businesses and citizens have been making their own fireworks shows for the rest of us to see. I think they were even better than what our own city puts on!
Since this was a three day weekend, we’ve been lucky enough to see fireworks all the way through the weekend.
I’d like to give a big thank you to those who shared their grand fireworks shows for all to see.
There just happened to be three shows going on in my area about the same time and I and my sidekicks were able watch all of them. We have a big hill in my area that is far above the surrounding land, so we can watch the sparkles in the sky from all across town. As the weekend goes on, I’m hoping to share more of those star spangled banners shooting off in the sky.
July Full Buck Moon
This was a rather special Fourth of July for the U.S.A because it also happened to be the July Full Buck Moon. It was a beautiful sight seeing that big orange ball over the horizon waiting for the fireworks show to begin. If you want to know what time the full moon rises in your area, check out timeanddate.com. I love and use this website almost everyday for any info I need on upcoming solar events. It is updated with tons of info on the moon and the sun. If you’re a sky watcher like me, a site like this is an important place to have saved.
I wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July under the Full Moon!
