To Go Coffee: 3D Pop-Up Box Card
To Go Coffee 3D pop – up Box Card, is the perfect anytime card for almost any occasion. The To Go Coffee Box Card comes from the Pit Stop Box Cards Kit, from svgcuts.com. I just happen to use it as a Birthday card for my daughter-in-law who loves coffee! This little card is also a perfect size for sending out in the mail. It’s not so big that you’ll be worried about it getting bent. When I send my handcrafted cards out, I send them in a padded envelope for extra protection.
Material I used:
- American Crafts Vanilla card stock.
- American Crafts White card stock.
- Floral paper pad, from Joann Fabrics.
- Velum (for the steam)
- Happy Birthday stamp, from an older Stampen Up set.
- The coffee cup stamp, from an older Stampen Up set.
- Aleene’s Tacky glue
- Scotch Advanced Tape Glider (I use the glider for taping my envelopes together).
- Silhouette Cameo
Mary the creator of The Pit Stop Box Card Kit, also includes the envelope designs. So there’s no guessing or trying to figure out the right envelope dimensions.
For those of you who don’t have a cutting machine, there are are many out there to choose from. The two most popular are the Silhouette and Cricut. They both have great features, all depends on your price point.
New Silhouette Cameo 4, 15 inch and 20 inch on the horizon
Just a little FYI, the Silhouette company will be releasing a Cameo 4. With the ability to cut thicker materials, I’m pretty excited about this!
Professional Level
Silhouette will also be releasing two other larger and wider cutting platforms. A 15 inch and 20 inch, ff your a lover of vinyl, the wider machines may suit better suited for you. I myself am looking into the 15 inch because it gives you that extra width. When working with vinyl that extra space will come in handy.
Heat Press
Silhouette is also releasing their own version of the Cricut Heat Press machine. Can’t wait to see how the Silhouettes compares to the Cricut!
Which ever you go with, a Silhouette or Cricut you won’t go wrong. But once you start cutting with an electronic DIY machine, you’ll never look back!
